Sylvia's Mother is the 11th episode of season 10 of the ITV's British period drama series Heartbeat and the show's 161st episode overall. The episode was filmed on 31st December 2000 and first aired on 7th January 2001.
Synopsis[]
Nurse Maggie Bolton has returned from her vacation with Graham Rysinski. She helps Sylvia in taking care of her very sick mother. Jack, who wants to marry Sylvia, is very dissatisfied with her brother, Tony, who owns three chip shops. When one of them is put on fire Jack is suspected.
